TWCore.org has moved to a new hosting environment!

Due to outgrowing the hosting at DreamHost, I've decided to move all the websites to a VPS. This will make the websites a lot faster and gives me more space to grow.

Subsequently TWCore.org has moved to the new hosting environment. It's now hosted at the VPS which I've named SubHost.org (85.214.192.59).

Let me know if you have questions or if there are things not working.

Hiya Mav!

Haven't heard from you in ages. Am actively coding on TW again ... bit like old times, and yet different. You should stop in sometime and say hi. We have yet another Dutch coder :> I don't know where all you guys come from. Oh, right ... nevermind.

The only issue I can see is that I had to check out the project over again, as it was pointing to http://www.twcore.org/svn/ -- and apparently it wants http://twcore.org/svn only. Not that big a deal, but I had some waiting commits that I now have to push over to the new checkout. It might also make things difficult for those setting things up without any help.

That's all ... stop by sometime, OK?

P.S. If you are still paying for this out of your own pocket, there's no reason we can't pay for it with donation money (unless it's not a big burden for you and is just something you like to do anyhow). Pretty easy to set up.

Hey qan,

Good to hear your actively coding TWCore again :)

I checked out the SVN problem you're having. I can confirm that it wants to use only one kind of URL but it's the opposite from what you're describing; it redirects to http://www.twcore.org/svn/ . I don't really know what to do about it. I've checked it a number of times and everything seems to be correct. You can always try to do a relocate of the repository in the SVN Repository Exploring Perspective. I will keep trying to fix it though (things should just work when you tell them to! :-P)

I've also noticed that the Trac updates towards Subversion repository commits aren't working as they should (new post-commit hook should take care of that).

As for the donations; I'm currently paying for the hosting out of my pocket but it's not a big deal at the moment. If costs mount up to the point that there is a need for external money, I will ask :-)

qan, I've fixed a small configuration issue in the Subversion configuration. Is Subversion working now as it should?

Hey Mav --

I haven't committed since yesterday, when I did it via the new checkout made using the twcore.org address, but as far as I know just changing that fixed the problem. Also changed the server checkout scripts to reflect the same. (Maybe I'll need to change it all back now, heh!)

But I will let you know if anything goes awry. Good to hear from ya, buddy. :D Thanks for continuing to work on (& pay for) this server!
