Create a 2v2 league similar to TWEL

Can you give us an idea of what exactly you'll be creating? Is this still going to be incorporated into duelbot or will it be very similar? I ask because I don't want a lot of hard work to go to waste.

It's going to be separate from duelbot but going to work similarly. Honestly, with how little progress I've had, I'm considering I'm the wrong man for that job. I can't for the life of me figure out how to change duelbot into something that uses 2v2. Mmav said to make a new bot, but then it would never get done. Plus my coding skills aren't nearly up to the level that duelbot is. Sure I notice mistakes here and there and some messiness and I understand what it's saying most of the time, but understanding it and manipulating it are two different things. If anyone wants to give me advice or tips on how I might get this done, you are more than welcome to.

Perhaps you'd be better off starting on a smaller project. Creating a completely separate entity will take a lot of planning and skill that would be a challenge for any of us.

Agreed. But who would do the 2v2 league bot?

I'll build it into TWEL eventually, but I'm really busy just getting the regular TWEL to work and revamping TWL. I'll try to get it done before the next TWEL season(not this coming one).

TWEL will then always be 1v1 with the DuelBot where there are no cross-references to the 2v2 league. I think that keeps things most clear to the players. A 2v2bot can then be created for the 2v2 league?

As the last pending task of this ticket states, this idea cannot see fruition until our main leagues are up and running. To be frank, they are not even close to all being completely functional. I am resigning my assignment to this ticket, but if and when that time comes I may be willing to take it up again.
