Re-adding a subbed player

I'm sure a lot of people have come across this issue, so I was wondering if there was any way to fix it.

In any game, when you sub a person out, you cant re-add them.

Ex: A is subbed out of the game for B. Then the two squads agree to !addplayer, but A is the only person available. If you try to add A, the bot tells you "that player is already on either of the teams," and wont be added.

Is it possible to get around this so A can play?

This is very easy to fix; however, I have noticed that it was specifically programmed to be this way. Is there any reason that this should not be changed that we are overlooking?

It turns out that this becomes more complicated than anticipated. If a player can be added again once subbed out their stats would have to be updated appropriately so as to show on the scoreboard and send to the database. There are other complications as well; in fact there are so many that I don't see this ticket worth resolving as TW has gotten by just fine without it for so long. I'm going to go ahead and close it, but if it is found to still be desirable it can be re-opened.
