Two suggestions, One which could help improve communication and possibly increase zone population in the long term

Reported by: Tres <ER> Owned by: milosh
Priority: normal Component: Bots - EventBot
Version: Latest version from repository Severity: trivial
Keywords: eventbot, MVP Cc:

Description

1. Make eventbot ?go Events once it spawns (There is a list of all events there, thanks to dads revenge, this also lets players see the variety of events available to play in Trench Wars), and PM players who enter the arena with Instructions on how to request an event, increasing the usage of eventbot too, and probably the amount of events which are hosted (overall).

2. A module which periodically *arena's the Current MVP, and their kills and deaths. for example, mvpmsg:60:2 would arena the current MVP every minute? perhaps with sound of the hosts choice too, %2 in my example. E.g.
Current MVP: Tres <ER>, 10-2!!! (and with %%2 sound ofc)

For 2. you probably mean a RoboBot-module, right?

I could make a TWScript escape key that finds and returns the player with the best K:D ratio in the arena and their record. Might be useful for other things as well...

A TWScript escape key would be useful, but perhaps there should be a seperate module considering #395 - suggestions?

Although I think it would be usefull in TWScript, I think the most easiest solution for everybody would be to make a new utility that hosters can just turn on during an event to periodically report the MVP.

If you only offer the ability via TWScript, hosters have to know TWScript (unfortunately only a few really do) and are forced to create a TWScript message to get the MVP arenad.

Did you assign this to yourself? I'll do both options if you don't want it.

If you like it, you can do it.

On creation, Tres probably assigned the ticket to me. With the new Trac version we can't set tickets to "nobody" anymore as soon as the ticket has been assigned to somebody (for more info: see TracWorkflow). I have to modify this in the configuration sometime.
