Description

A guy named AKMask lagged out leaving us 7, and I tried !t1-sub, then capping myself and doing !sub akmask:remu (remu was on 9999, so not NP). It just kept returning that error no matter what, tried even with other players from 9999 and NP frequency.

AKMask lagged out, tried subbing with !t1- first, didn't work (Error: Player could not be found)

    Burzum> !list
   BaseBot> Freq 1 (captain: Major <ER>)
   BaseBot> Name: - Ship: - Status:
   BaseBot> H.M.S. Stargazer - Spider - IN
   BaseBot> Kawrae - Spider - IN
   BaseBot> LADiES - Spider - IN
   BaseBot> tj hazuki - Spider - IN
   BaseBot> Major <ER> - Terrier - IN
   BaseBot> Burzum - Shark - IN
   BaseBot> Gran Guerrero - Shark - IN
   BaseBot> AKMask - Spider - LAGGED OUT
   BaseBot> Singer - Spider - SUBSTITUTED
   BaseBot> Subneo - Spider - SUBSTITUTED
   BaseBot> `

Now all relevant commands in the order they were sent (all of them PM to basebot via ::) Both Remu and chuckle were on 9999.

    Burzum> !t1-sub ak:remu
BaseBot> Error: Player could not be found
    Burzum> !t1-sub akmask:chuckle
BaseBot> Error: Player could not be found

Tried getting Kaw as our cap so he can sub while I shark:

Burzum> !t1-setcaptain kaw
Kawrae is assigned as captain for Freq 0

(yeah, no idea why he was set as cap for 0)

Next tried diakka who was on 666, thought maybe i mixed up NP and spec freqs:

    Burzum> !t1-sub akmask:diakka
BaseBot> Error: Player could not be found

After that

    Burzum> !t1-setcaptain bur
Burzum is assigned as captain for Freq 0

(??)

    Burzum> !sub akmask:remu
BaseBot> Error: Player could not be found
    Burzum> !sub akmask:diakka
BaseBot> Error: Player could not be found

And then the game was over. Is there some basic thing I mixed up?

Burzum made a mistake in team/freq numbers.

Changed 6 months ago by Maverick

Basically got confused because there is freq 0 and 1 which is represented by team 1 and 2.

Add/Change #474 (Subbing in ?go base says "BaseBot> Error: Player could not be found")
