MVP Reward & Bounty

Description

Bounty, as a reward, is quite useless. It's only really useful to green Leviathans, and not much more than that.

I made a thread last year asking players what they would like instead. You can view the thread here;http://forums.trenchwars.org/showthread.php?38320-Question-Time&highlight=. I think points would be a better idea to prize, instead of bounty. But there are a few issues with the ?buy system;

[] Players need to travel to the safe area to ?buy then go back to base.
[] Some ships are limited as to what they can ?buy
[] We need to ensure a level of fairness, so that some ships don't get too overpowered.

It may be easier to work out a formula for prizing points based on how much items are worth at the moment, instead of changing the values of the items in ?buy. Extra points can be given for flag touches/claims, MVPs etc. Let me know your thoughts, guys. Tnanks.

You do get more points per kill at higher bounties though

well, we can work on a system like this:

1. a relation between '#kills' and '#ship' would give a reward to the player
2. a different relation by formulas with '#kills', '#ship', '#bounty', '#coords'
3. an system that would work with players coords, so if he is in the flagroom, it would give him more points than a player in spawn area
4. a spec watcher/arena leave watcher, so if he leaves arena, the player's list of rewards would be reseted.
5. http://www.assemblysys.com/dataServices/php_pointinpolygon.php
algorythm (in php) to be used on addon 3 (above).

what do you guys think?
